Is there a way to get a 36-hour forecast with just "today, tonight, tomorrow." High/low temperarature depending on if the period is night/day, and conditions (cloudy, sunny, rainy...)?

I don't think there is a '36-hours forecast' api call. But what you can do is make a 'forecast' call like this:

api.wunderground.com/api/66b1afdaedd9ea4c/forecast/q/42.9,-81.2.xml

The first 3 s in the list under will give you weather information for right now, tonight and tomorrow including things like high, low, conditions and pop.

Hope this helps!

At some point we'd like to come out with a "day-part" section of code doing what you've described, but that will be months away.

The biggest problem with the example you give, tdesplen, is that it doesn't provide enough information. You'd have to use a regex to get the temp, wind, etc data from fcttext in order to create a forecast like the one on Wunderground.com's home page.
