So, Shingeki no Kyojin. It is praised by a large majority, causing a storm of genuine enthusiasm for the same majority and pushing it to joyful cries and screams emanating from all sides. Honestly, after reading the description of the series and looking at its cover, I would have walked by without thinking for a second. But there were still a couple of circumstances that made Shingeki no Kyojin look a little more closely. No, the reason for this is the popularity that didn’t fall off the show from nowhere: as life shows, the “popularity” indicator does not show anything at all, I apologize for the tautology.

A competent product that clearly and unequivocally answers the cornerstone questions of trade: what do we sell? to whom are we selling? and why sell? In this case, we are dealing with an kissanime, which has been done well from the perspective of these very issues, it's hard to find fault here. Qualitatively technical design, a diverse combination of characters and their storylines, again, an attempt to re-shoot the good old in a new way. But that is the whole problem. Shingeki no Kyojin is pure in all components from and to the product for sale. Judging by the reaction of the "consumer", the product is successful, which will continue to be sold off with a bang by its target audience. The authors managed to fill the titans well with all the “goodies” that are appreciated by lovers of “combat adventures”. Yes, the template, yes, not new, yes, not too inventive, but it works! And most importantly, crispy banknotes brings.

I repeat Shingeki no Kyojin: - it is not hopeless, it is not depressing and it is not trash. Let the titans not become some kind of revelation or a new milestone in the genre, but they maintain the level of a fairly high level very confidently.
