autocomplete toronto vs. downtown toronto

Searching for Toronto with the autocomplete api doesn't provide the location for the most common use of Toronto. The most common use location would be Downtown Toronto but that only loads searching specifically with 'downtown' in front - I only found this from seeing what shows up on the wunderground website. Interestingly the first result from autocomplete api for Toronto shows some unheard of place in Prince Edward Island (not even a town; a "unincorporated area") though the wunderground website won't link that in their search autocomplete results.

Could we get an autocomplete api result for just Toronto Ontario maybe with the same properties as downtown Toronto or somehow get the downtown Toronto result to show up as well?
for now i'll just have to create a specific case for it

I'm having the same problem and am currently having to override the results. Any news on when this might be getting fixed?
