Can I actually don't use the logo at all?

I am making a cute app of sorts, that use the weather data to change the graphics (example: if it is day, the app shows daytime, if it is fullmoon and night, a fullmoon will be visible, if it is raining, rain will be visible, and the forecast might appear for example in a newspaper in a newstand on the background).

So, I have no place to put the logo... The point of the app is not to be a real weather app like those you would usually use (for those, there are already thousands of them anyway), but be something else...
