Hi guys. i am new on here and just set up my weather station this afternoon.
Its a ws 1000 wifi which reports direct to wunderground .
Anyway i find that the UI is not all that flash looking but i have found if i connect to rapid fire its a nicer looking interface for people in my small town to look at, However we are metric here in Australia but rapid fire shows my readings in imperial measurements , i think thats what its called. example our temp is celsius but the rapid fire shows Fahrenheit and wind in MPH instead of KMH , does anyone know how to change the rapid fire settings or maybe it cant show metric.
thanks Ian South Australia

It's hard to get what you mean for changing unit type for rapid fire... even in weather underground api platform.

the closest picture I can understand from your scenario is related to Personal Weather Station Upload Protocol, and even outside the WUAPI, it is planned for receiving datas in imperial units, including rapid fire updates. Reading data units would be affected by user agent preferences.

So maybe to avoid confusing, you could add further information to better clear the scenario: keep in mind here we are focused over internal and development topics.

thanks for the quick reply. i dont know how to say it any differently, let me try though. when i look at my wunderground home weather page it is in australian measurements, that is temp is in celsius. wind in KILOMETERS an hour. and rain in Millimeters. if i look on rapid fire its a lot more colorful page and gives the average weather looker in out town an easier Interface to look at, But the problem is it only seems to show temp in farenheit, rain in inches and wind in MPH ., can i change the rapid fire page to show metric measurements .
thanks ian

Rapid Fire is a Personal Weather Station (PWS).

WunderWilliam has stated previously that:

"This forum is focused on our API, which is a developer's tool to access weather data.

Please write to help@wunderground.com for any PWS questions."

I managed to solve this one myself. You add "&units+metric" to the URL (web address) for the weather station you want to monitor. Here's an example.
