Conditions during winter storm

I'm trying to identify the ambient temperature for a location in Form MacLeod that currently has a winter storm warning issued by environment canada. The results for the weather api are
-0.1http://www.wunderground.com/weather/a.... When I looked at the closest station on the Weather Map, the ambient and moisture statistics were the only values provided. So I'm wondering if the Weather API shuts down during adverse weather conditions.

The API certainly doesn't shut down during a storm. It might be that a particular station doesn't work in the storm. Also, not all stations report all values. The URL you posted is the terms URL. What URL were you hitting on the API?

2 hours ago I looked at wundermap, and saw a station that was about 5 km NE of Fort MacLeod. Now I don't see that station at all. There other stations within 50 km, but none are them are displayed in the condtions.

I'm not sure why the lat,lon isn't working, I'm asking about it, but you can use these two searches that do work:
