Dear all,
My weather station sends its data every 48 seconds to wunderground using the RapidFire protocol (only). Most of the time this can be followed in real time on the relevant web site . In actual fact, upon opening the web site or renewing it, one first sees a map with or without the weather station icon and to the right of it a message that the last update was of the order of 10ths of minutes ago. It is subsequently refreshed with a map with the icon on and the actual update time of the order of 10ths of seconds. Sometimes, the second update does not come for something like an hour which gives the impression something is wrong. It will sometimes even tell us that it is not updating!
It is certainly not the weather station not updating as is clear from the history graph below the map that continues to show the data without any interruption.
My guess is that this is due to server(s) overload on your side. Or could it be a bug in your software?
Ger
