Current vs Observation API Calls

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at some weather forecasts for Sub-Sahara Africa and I'm noticing that in general the "observation_location" is not the same as "current_observation".

No problem! I understand why it would do that.

But knowing this I would like to optimise my API calls and make one call and not hundreds for all the small towns around Cape Town for example. I unfortunately do not see an easy way to do this.

It would have been great if "observation_location" contained ZMW for example.

Anyone have another suggestion?

When we get to working on the API we can add ZMW to the observation_location, that's a good idea.
