Curious on how are things going with the decimals. It was supposed to be done by the end of April. We are nearing the end of May. New date?

Seems such a small thing but it means so much to those of us who use the data!

Unbelievable... as if the decimal in metric system were not useful. Not all live in USA!

Funny thing is that if you click on 'nearby weather stations' the decimal value is shown!

Decimals in metric are really important. When will this be available?

This is still planned, but I do not have additional information about when.

The problem with the decimal point seems to be fixed. The website is currently showing the temperature with decimal point. Even the graphs are looking good now.

Thanks for sharing. However, the code lines (jason file) I get with my key dont't display decimals. Maybe it is coming. It would be good news!

Yes, I just looked at the JSON response, and it still is returning integer values. And, the API spec for PWS Observations still defines the temperature values as integer versus decimal.

The website is showing decimals, and the API documentation will soon be revised to reflect the changes need to make the added precision work.

Thank you all for your abundant patience!

Éric, I can't even answer this completely yet, because I have not seen the documentation or code yet.  I have a vague sense of how it was implimented, but APIs don't do vague well.  But it's just around the corner now.

Will you post here when the documentation or the decimals become available?

The API now has the capability to return decimal temperature. You need to set the "numericPrecision" parameter to "decimal" per the updated API documentation but other than that, it seems to work just fine.

Working fine on my side too. So you don't have to dig too much:

Good to see the decimal point has returned - it makes so much difference to those of us who use the data
