My json calls return:
"error": {
"type": "missingkey"
,"description": "you must supply a key"
}

Nothing works! My API key disappeared from the website! It looks as if I never used the service!

Wunderground API webpage is extremely slow, mostly not responding

My subscription should be fine according to my latest invoice.

I had to post this with my google account!

Please help!!!

Hi WunderWilliam. The problem seemed to occur around midnight this morning for us on all of our customers. Then it went away. So all is good right now.

The exact call? Depends on the user and their location. It was happening to all of our users this morning.

It helps for me to have the call so that I can reproduce it on this end. But it's good to hear the problem stopped.

It was every call for me as well
One example:
http://api.wunderground.com/api/MYAPI...

I was hardly able to login to the http://www.wunderground.com/weather/api/
when I managed it looked as if i did not have any subscription or API key. First I thought somebody hacked my account and deleted my api keys.

For me it seems some or all api keys just disappeared from the system for about 3-4 hours.
First I noticed around 9:30pm (PSD time) and my calls started working around 1am, but I still didn't see my API keys under "Key settings", now everything works.

My logs indicate two outages.

The first was timeouts on API all calls on March 16 8:40 pm PDT until March 16 9:22 pm PDT.

The second was the "missingkey" response on all API calls on March 17 9:19 pm PDT until March 17 11:42 pm PDT.

Hopefully, whatever change you guys were trying to install over the last 2 nights, the third time is the charm. Holding my breath tonight.

Thanks Kevin that is very accurate!

I think this was the same issue what happened 1 year ago and widely scrutinised in the "API returns error, missingkey and I have a valid key" thread.

@WunderWilliam if it was caused by an update. Could you submit schedule future updates in the morning (your time) so an issue like this would come up in your working hours.

We've been talking a bit about a proper API status page, which would include any planned updates / maintenance dates.

The release of API 2.0 is our priority right now, but I'll make sure that the status page gets attention as soon as possible!
