I'm a front-end developer (mostly HTML/CSS) with a little PHP and JS experience and am trying to simply display the current temperature for a city. The code samples kind of got me started but they only show how to display results in an alert window. How can I take that jquery code sample and actually display it as text in a div in my HTML? I'm also going to need to display the icons, but thought I'd start with just the temp at first1

Sorry if this is such a basic question, but my programmer is out of town & I have a deadline on this project and need to figure it out myself :) Thanks!

The php sample will output the text of the API: http://www.wunderground.com/weather/a...

For the javascript example, if you change "alert" to document.write it should work.
