HD Widgets and WUnderground on Android

I'm running Android 6.x on a Moto Droid Turbo. I'm using HD Widgets
to connect to Weather Underground. When I tap on the weather widget on
my screen, I get taken to a screen that I think is part of HD Widgets (see attachment).

What used to work, but now does not, is that I could tap on a day (towards the bottom of the screen), and it would load WUnderground in my browser, pointing to the detail page for that location and day. When I do so now, I consistently get "An error occured. Backend failure." The URL being passed in is wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=42.29,-70.87&brand=android#forecast

I don't know if this is the result of a real back end error in WUnderground, a change in the way HD Widgets processes the click, or something else. Should this be a valid URL from WUnderground's point of view?

I can directly open the WUnderground app on my phone; that works fine. Unfortunately, it doesn't give me access to the information I find most useful, which is the table showing hour-by-hour temperature, humidity, dew point, and conditions. It appears that the app, as well as the website contents on different platforms, are quite different in the information they make available. It'd be nice to have these be consistent, but what I'd really like is to figure out what's wrong with the problem I described above. I use the humidity information *all the time* and hate being without it.
