History Add-on Details

I know a few things have been asked about the history add-on, but I just want to clarify. We currently use the free Developer service, and we make some history requests. We're starting to exceed the 500 requests per day limit, and are looking at upgrading to the Drizzle plan, but it costs a lot more to get the history add-on with this. If we don't get the history add-on, does this mean we won't be able to make any history requests at all? Note that we need history data for yesterday, last week and last year.

If you have the Drizzle account but you don't get the History Add-on, you can still make history calls. You're just limited to the dev limit of 500/day.

Thanks for the reply. Does that mean on the Drizzle service that we'd be limited to 500 history requests alone, or does it mean that if we go over a total of 500 requests in a day then we won't be allowed any more history requests (but will still obviously be allowed up to a total of 5,000 total requests)? Our current usage is a little over 500 total requests per day, but our history requests only make up about 30-40 of those.

Hi again, would be great if someone could reply to this. We need to make a decision on this very soon.

Thanks!

With Drizzle without the history add-on, you would be limited to 500 history requests, but you could have 5000 requests in total -- so 4500 of them could be condition, forecast, or anything else that the plan supports.

Ok, thanks a lot. Makes sense.
