Hourly forecast - json file only 181 bytes

Similar to the recent issues with radar not returning a valid image (https://apicommunity.wunderground.com/weatherapi/topics/radar-api-not-working) , I am now seeing problems when requesting an api call to /hourly/.

The file returned is only 181 bytes and contains only the following.

{
  "response": {
  "version":"0.1",
  "termsofService":"http://www.wunderground.com/weather/api/d/terms.html";,
  "features": {
  "hourly": 1
  }
        }
                ,
        "hourly_forecast": [
        ]
}

I have this call made on 2 x Raspberry Pi's in 2 different locations using 2 x different API keys and both frequently return the above. I ran the call manually and it took me 4 attempts to receive a complete json file.

I think this is another issue I am afraid. Anybody else seeing something similar.

Same exact issue here for the past 48 hours or so. It's intermittent. Using:
http://api.wunderground.com/api/<api_key>/hourly10day/q/<lat>,<lon>.json

As a workaround (again) I have added a small loop in my script so that if the json file received is less than 200 bytes it makes the call again. Works but means I am making more api calls.

Cool idea. Yeah still counts as individual API calls, Ugh.
Been 3+ days now. I have since switched to NWS's free json feed until this is resolved by WU.

Fortunately I only make 150 api calls a day so have room for it to call again. But the little "fix" seems to be working well. :-)

Any full URLs to follow up on?  URLs without the API key.  Thanks

Hi Brendan, we retrieve data based on ICAO codes (all of them - db of around 6500 ICAOs around the world). We noticed today errors with hourly forecast and 10-day forecast for over 100 locations). One example EGLC (London City Airport, was giving no data for hourly and partial data for 10-day for 20-30% of requests). but this happens for all locations. Thanks.
