I can not register my PWS

Hello!, I want to register my PWS, but in the web page, section "Register with WU", the map doesn ́t appears  for select my location, still just blank. Someone knows if the page has some troubles?

I received a WS-0900-IP Wireless Internet Remote Monitoring Weather Station for Christmas, I also cannot register my PWS, keep getting server error.

YES!! Thank you very much, I noticed on the base station the server light was on which it has not been on since install. I was able to log in and add my station, still waiting on it being live in the WunderMap but I know that does take some time. I hope the fix was not too difficult.

I can see it in the application on my iPad for both the WunderStation app and Wunderground app but not of the for main website WunderMap, I thought I would see it listed there also, when I search for my station name in the interactive WunderMap the list stops at KMNMINNE337 and my station is KMNMINNE338 just one shy.

I search my pws on main page in the  map and it appears, did you try serching on map?

It is there now, apparently there was an issue yesterday, when I logged in this morning I had a pop up on the WunderMap that there was an issue logging in and updating and saving preferences, there were several bug fixes that were applied to the website. Thank you for your help!

I was able to get mine registered and working but the location is off by more that 2 miles. Is there any way to change the Lat and Long coordinates for my PWS.

Hi Mika, did you set the correct latitud and longitud on wu page?, check your correct position with software for cellphones that use gps. You have the posibility to edit your pws information. If the page doesn ́t allow you to change the coordinates delete you pws and register it again. keep in touch.

My actual Lat and Long is 41.58763, -83.62389. The position in my Acurite 5 in 1 PWS software is 41.587597, -83.62389. WU is showing it at 41.56000137, -83.65000153. Now that's a big difference. What can I do about it?

I too am having difficulty registering my PWS.  In my Profile I look for my devices which reports I don't have one so I click on the Add a New Device.  This takes my to the page where I click on Personal Weather Station.  I then add my address which gets me to the Details Tab.  I enter a name for my device and fill in the space with my device (Ambient Weather WS-2000), accept the privacy setting and click Next.  Nothing happens after that.  Any suggestion on what I may be doing incorrectly?

I also tried Windows Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Safari on my IPad.  The results were all the same.

Hartley, they found something malformed in the user records for the people who failed.  (I don't have your specific email, do I?)  Unless there's something in your user record that you don't want to lose (like another PWS), I would just delete the user record and make a new one.  

If you're not sure how to do that, or it doesn't work properly, let me know!

I am having the same problem and utilize weather stations in different locations at different times of the year.  Deleting my user record would not be an option.

Just so I keep everyone in the loop, there seems to be a problem with newly-created Weather Underground accounts:  they lack a connection that the PWS set up needs to link to, identified today, May 29, 2019.  The programmers are looking into it.

Unable to register a PWS -
I'm to be added to the nothing beyond the 75% registered mark.   Click and nothing further.   From Saturday 1st Feb 2020.....

Hi, folks!  

I just wanted to let you know that the problem that prevented you from registering your stations has been fixed.  To implement it, go to www.wunderground.com, and if you are logged in, log out and then in again.  (If you’re logged out, you just need to log in once.)  This step is critical, so don't skip it.

After that, go to My Devices and everything should work perfectly.

If you have further difficulties, the best place to report them is here, which is linked from the bottom of every Weather Underground page:
