I registered but the email I received doesn't have the API key, only linked to complete the registration.

I can't find any keys under your account. Please sign into Wunderground, go to the link below, select the plan type and level for the key, and click "purchase key" (even if it's for the developer level). You'll then fill out a quick form and you'll get your key.

The validation system is being looked into right now to figure out why its getting stuck in that finalization process. It should work again shortly

Ameen, I got the same thing, but the API key that returned is the one I used. It works fine for me now.

Yes, more time that I can count. I'm always getting...: "You haven't validated your account. Follow the link in the email you should have received when you registered in order to continue. Make sure you used the correct email address." ... Which I've validated as many times. I've looked everywhere I know to find it. I've logged onto your site and even have a member number or Handle:WU_7825962. I just can't seem to find, figure out how to make or otherwise acquire my API

We believe this is happening because of a lag in the sign up process. As the last member stated, it worked after about 15 minutes. I'm sorry for the lag in sign up.

I was able to retrieve an API key after several attempts and walking away from it until morning. If I can help troubleshoot in any way, please let me know.

how do you receive your api key?
I signed up for a ten dollars a year but now i am seeing 20 dollars a month.

Hi,

If I click on 'Purchase Key' I keep being asked to validate my email address, which I have done!
Is there a waiting time before I can use the API?

It's ok now. Once I completed in some project info I can now see my key. I think that perhaps there was some kind of delay.

I'm having the same issue. not validating my email address. waited overnight and now it just returns me to the information screen (blank of course) after I select "purchase my key". maybe I have to wait another day.

If someone fixed it - it's broken again. I went through the API key signup process 4x and the only thing I get is email verification. No API key.

Still the same problem. Try repeatedly, follow instructions, but no API key. Since this problem has obviously been going on for months, why hasn't it been fixed?

Same issue here. I am stuck in the validating loop. I've already validated my email address several times. The URL, when redirect=1 is changed to redirect=0, is indicating that:

This is no doubt the sorriest company I have ever had to deal with. WU can't fix anything, they say it's fixed but it isn't. I feel sorry for anyone actually paying for this service . I've had a free service for over a year and it's hasn't run a full week without multiple problems. I'm finally down to only ONE API from them and IT doesn't work. I switched to Aeris Weather and it's flawless. I'm paying for Aeris API's but I'd rather pay for something that works rather than suffer with incompetence from WU. You all should switch to another weather service. Start rewriting your weather service now from someone else, you will be happier I promise.

The plan seems selected according to the IU "Your Selected Plan: Developer Stratus" but the problem is still the message it appears in the same page: "You haven't validated your account. Follow the link in the email you should have received when you registered in order to continue. Make sure you used the correct email address."
So, I cannot see the API anywhere in wunderground webapp.
Any other idea?
