IP to access API? Server firewall issue

Hi,

Been very successfully using the API to pull a 10-day forecast into my client's site for some months now but, towards the back end of September, calls out to the api.wunderground.com address stopped working; they just started timing out on our server.

The server itself is corporate-managed and we have to tap-dance around a fairly strict firewall policy and, although I thought 'api.wunderground.com' was whitelisted, it turns out that only the API's IP address is stored (their firewall doesn't resolve hostnames to save on overheads, apparently) and they're telling me that the reason the calls to the API are no longer working is that an Akaimai cache/edge server has now been introduced between our server and the wunderground servers.

I'm guessing this was done recently to improve performance but, unfortunately, this seems to have tripped everything up on our servers, and enterprise support are asking me to get in touch with wunderground to get the IP they would like used for API calls so we can make sure to update/add-to the server firewall.

This make sense? Hopefully someone can provide me with an IP that'll do the trick as i'm a big fan of the service and would dread having to hunt elsewhere for something as awesome.

This all makes sense. The Akamai change was done for efficiency and performance and has greatly helped, but has introduced the IP changes.
