Hi - I'm using this XML for Bristol UK but returns every Bristol in the world - can someone explain what I'm doing wrong?

http://api.wunderground.com/api/[key]...

I want to use in conjunction with XPath's IE:-

//response/current_observation/temp_c

fanks!

you have to query

/q/United%20Kingdom/Bristol.xml

since you were trying to use a scheme (chosen by WU, as available at http://www.wunderground.com/weather/a... doc) suitable for US states, but wrong for international queries.
XPath string seem rightly usable, anyway you may need to choose imperial units and AFAIK sometimes metrics conversions appear rawly rounded to units; people reported this type of issues in previous community posts.

coolio got it thanks - nearly!

my XML is working and returns a nice tree of data - for test purposes i'm just trying to retrieve temp_c into my OpenRemote app and using the element:-

//response/current_observation/temp_c

i'm getting an error in OpenRemote - is there a way I can test my XML and data element in a browser so I can isolate the error?

GOT IT! Took out esc20 and used GET method - sorted :-)

cheers
