Paid API plans: what the future brings and when?

Dear WU team,
First I have to mention that we are a paid customer for few good years. We've seen number of issues with the service provided, but we managed to patch our code and fix majority of them on our side through time consuming workarounds. All in all until few month ago I can say that service provided was acceptable/good, but lately (since the Jan 3rd issue) we've seen a rapid degradation and sub-standard customer care and response. 

We haven't seen an official communication related to the changes in the service provided, what is expected and when. If WU plans to terminate the API access in the future, we need advance notice in order to find a new provider and test new solution. In the meanwhile, is the WU API still looked after (technical team still looks to fix existing issues like Jan 3rd one)?
Again, please note that we are a paid customer.

WU cant reply. there are not support staff willing to reply. only a few die hard developers left by the looks of it.
