Problem getting correct weather for GPS coordinates

I'm having very inconsistent results querying weather for GPS coordinates. Sometimes I get weather that's reasonable, sometimes the data that comes back appears to be from very far away, despite a GPS location in a large city.

Is there a way to tell where the weather is coming from for a query like:
http://api.wunderground.com/api/xxkeyxx/history_20170831/q/46.4976527777778,9.84118333333333.json
This is a location in St. Moritz, Switzerland. The weather returned appears to be coming from very far away. 

How can I tell where the weather is coming from for a given history query? Is there any way to limit the results from nearby weather stations? The resulting page doesn't seem to have any information regarding where the measurements were taken.
