I've had an email that tells me that my Watson W8681 has failed a Wunderground QC figure. Apparently my temperatures don't match other local stations.
That somewhat annoys me because my garden is inside a square block of houses - at closest perhaps 80 to 100 metres apart - and it's a bit sheltered by comparison with the rooftop station that's nearest me.
My weather station is mounted on the top a 10' tall scaffold pole (ex washing line support) and is obviously exposed to all weathers. But my readings are no more than 2-3C higher than other at any time.
Currently, for example, these are local station readings:
Mine reads - 2.0C
2 miles away - 0.8C
1 mile away - 2.5C
1/4 mile away - 1.2C
So what am I supposed to do to avoid this QC failure?
