sent a query: "history_20120514/q/CYQR". Returns with weather from station CWDJ. Anyone have any thoughts on why? I'm looking for METARS from the airport that day.

I checked against the website, weather is shown for CYQR that day: http://www.wunderground.com/history/a...

I saw your post. I have the same issue. Data does not seem reliable at all. I think I am going to have to go with a pay service elsewhere. Have you tried using the MADIS system?

Since having this issue, I've started looking elsewhere for weather data. I hadn't found that one, but it looks promising.

I agree. Weatherunderground has very poor support. No one responds or helps.

Update:

I pulled 515 historical metars from various airports. Of those 515 records 38 returned weather from the incorrect airports. All airports were in Canada or the US. A majority of them being Canadian. Here's the list, should someone from wundergroud wander into this discussion.

CYQR, CYXU, CYQR, KRAP, CYWG, CYYC, CYEG, CYYZ, KXNA

wunderground is filth. Horrible customer service.

They don't care about the integrity of their products. Don't waste your time with them.

Does anyone actually know if any wunderground employees look at these posts? I'm in the process of just using another site, but i'd rather use the code I've already written...
