5 or 6 days - radar images are either blank or are lacking the usual data.  File attached.  Can you let us know when this will be fixed?  Thanks!

What is the URL you're hitting to generate the image that isn't working?

It turns out the docs must have changed recently, or something.  We were using:

https://api.wunderground.com/api/<key>/animatedradar/q/' + zipcode + '.gif?num=15

We had to change it to:
https://api.wunderground.com/api/<key>/animatedradar/q/' + zipcode + '.gif?num=15&newmaps=1

It would be nice if we got notified when there were API changes that would potentially break things we're using, rather than just wait for it to trickle down to us.

gabaum10 -  Looks like your changes work on our sites as well.  Thank you for that.

And I agree with you - Weather Underground changes something and tells no one about it.  Almost a week later, one of their users (you) figures out what they did.  Not good.  But thanks to you our stuff is working again.

The documentation didn't change, but rather there had been a bug in the radar code relating to that parameter.  When we fixed the backend, newmaps became required.  This is a great example of the need to be proactive with changes of this nature, and we will work towards being more forthcoming with fixes that will have a downstream effect like this.
