Sharing your outdoor readings with Weather Underground (AcuRite PC Connect)

WeatherUnderground (WU) has ended its (API) service to their PWS data providers. I've been dependent on their site to provide data from my 5-in-1 weather station via. AcuRite PC Connect. Now I am one sign out away from being locked out from their website since their services have ended. Also a great let-down, I just purchased a weather cam to pair to WU, their webcam access has been also shut down. Does AcuRite or Weather Underground have any alternatives regarding having AcuRite users share their data?

My only alternative as of now is creating a website of my own. I know there was a software built-in in the station that allowed data sent to WU via. AcuRite PC Connect before. Does AcuRite have any other way to embed current conditions to a website (specifically with  5-in-1 weather station)?

They give a free API key to PWS up-loaders, go to the API Keys tab of your "Member Settings" area on the web site.

The API is about getting data from WU without using their apps or web site. It has nothing to do with uploading data or using the apps and/or web site to view data.

The PWS services are still going, I just set up a new PWS test station the other day and am playing with it now.

Oh! That's a relief, I got worried when I heard about it. How can I access the webcam.wunderground.com? I have a Blink XTR footages that I want to upload to wunderground associated with the PWS. The webcam link doesn't seem to be functioning.

I don't have a webcam but I believe you'll get better help at the Weather Underground board of the WxForum. https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?boa...

This thread over there seems be linked to frequently for people having trouble with their webcam setup.

If that thread doesn't help, start a new thread and the webcam experts over there should be able to sort it out for you.
