Please could you explain the difference between snow_day, snow_night and snow_allday?

snow_day = snow during the daytime, roughly 8am-5pm
snow_night = snow overnight, roughly 5pm - 8am next day
snow_allday = snow from midnight to midnight, 1 calendar day
