Tides for Earlier Today

Is there any way to get the Tides for earlier today? It seems that the calls always return the data for now and beyond, but it would be helpful for me to get earlier as well.

This becomes especially problematic when I lose the immediately previous tide, so I don't know what the "current" one is.

Ex: Right now it's 12:36PM PDT. The last tide took place at 11:43AM PDT, and the next is at 7:52PM PDT.

In this example, the API doesn't return the 11:43AM tide, so all I can point to is the upcoming 7:52, but since I'm not even close to that, my data is inaccurate.

Anyway, the point is, as a consumer of tides, I'd expect to see tides for the day, or at least the nearest previous so that I have a comparison point. Can you please add this?

Agreed. I am looking for the same type of behavior. Are there any plans on updating the tideSummary array to show past tide data (even just by persisting the current day to start simple).

Would love this!
