Troubleshooting SmartHub

I have a SmartHub that’s been in use for several years. I gave it (and my equally aged 5-in-1 station) to my nephew about 6 months. About two months ago, his station stopped reporting to WU, although it is still picked up on his display. I think the problem is the SmartHub, but would like some ideas how to troubleshoot it to be sure. Should I try the “register” button on the bottom of the SmartHub? Not sure what this will do since it was (obviously) already registered several years ago. BTW, we swapped out the Ethernet cord, and that didn’t correct the problem. On my nephew’s router, the port connecting the SmartHub lights up amber,, while all his other connected devices show white LEDs. I think all sign are pointing to a bad SmartHub but I’d like to be sure before investing in a new Access.

Try a reset.  What have you got to lose?
