Windspeed not converted to metric values

Hi,
I am pulling current data via the V2 API and it seems that while I calling for metric data using "&units=m" the wind speed remains as mph rather m/s or kmh

I guess this is a bug?

Are you sure it's not a rounding error, Enno?

I just ran a test with Beaver, Utah, where it happens to be fairly windy today.  With units set to m, I got a windspeed of 24, and with units set to e, 15.  The PWS dashboard that I was looking at also shows 15 mph.

At lower speeds, the lack of decimal precision might make the two indistinguishably close.

Hi,
Die you also check against kmh ? The values looked the same?

I compared imperial to metric.  These are the only possible choices in the current conditions API that you referenced:
  • e = English units (imperial)

  • m = Metric units

  • h = Hybrid units (UK)

  • s  = Metric SI units

If the wind was blowing at 15 miles/hour, then 24 kilometers/hour is right, and that's what the API was returning.
